Issues from the The Shire Post. Artwork by members. Published by Orgulas Maggot and Mayor Whitfoot. Shire Post is the inspiration of Mayor Whitfoot. Read The Mayor's letter about it. The idea to bring a Shire postal service and the camaraderie associated with real pen and ink letters led to the creation of stamps and coinage. There were once as many as 500 members.

2006 Shire Post

“Shire Post Advent Calendar” Produced by Tom Maringer of Shire Post. A unique Advent calendar that has a Shire Post coin behind each of the twelve stops on the Shire map; differentiated from the following calendar by the coins found in it (called the "Silver upgrade" because it contains four silver tharantiin) and is a signed/numbered edition limited to five copies. Dimensions: 11 x 8.5 inches (w x h); in a plastic sleeve and presentation envelope.
