Tolkien Calendars 2002 - 2004

Lists the very rare 2003 Tolkien's Ring and rare 2002 Idea Libri, ShirePost, and Klett-Cotta Verlag issues. The latter is an unusual Advent calendar celebrating the Professor's eleventy-first birthday.

Rarity: 9 Although a sizeable number were printed, it is my understanding (from an Italian collector) that these were recalled because of copyright issues with Tolkien Enterprises. A few have gotten into the hands of collectors. I know of three such copies. (x)

As an advent calendar (ending 3 January 2003), it has images of various Tolkien publications on 24 "windows" that can be opened to reveal a chocolate candy.
